We are currently working in partnership with a well-established and progressive law firm based in Birmingham City Centre, who are looking for an experienced Legal PA to join their busy Property team on a temporary basis.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Legal PA who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, supporting a busy team and playing an important role in delivering a high level of service to clients.
The Role:This role will provide reliable and efficient administrative and client support to the Property team, helping to keep the department organised and ensuring the smooth running of the day-to-day workload.
Your responsibilities will include:- Providing proactive support to the team and assisting with the day-to-day management of client relationships.
- Handling basic client queries and managing client-related telephone calls and messages.
- Producing, formatting and checking documents, ensuring a high level of accuracy.
- Managing diaries and coordinating meetings, interviews and client training sessions.
- Arranging meeting rooms, preparing agendas and papers, and coordinating travel and accommodation where required.
- Monitoring key client dates and ensuring compliance procedures are kept up to date.
- Assisting with the organisation and coordination of internal and external events.
- Producing and maintaining Excel spreadsheets and other departmental records.
- Liaising with internal teams and collating information as required.
- Arranging photocopying, printing, couriers and the distribution of correspondence.
- Receiving and processing instructions through digital dictation.
- Providing support with billing and invoices for files within the team.
- Previous experience as a PA, Legal PA or Legal Secretary, ideally within a law firm or professional services environment.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied workload and competing priorities.
- Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word, Outlook and Excel.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A professional, approachable and client-focused manner.
- The ability to work independently, use initiative and stay organised in a busy environment.
- Previous experience within property or real estate would be advantageous, but is not essential.
