£45,000 - £50,000 + Annual Bonus + 25 Days Holiday + Pension + Additional Benefits

Excellent opportunity for an experienced Software Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing business in a hands-on role where you'll take ownership of business-critical applications, data platforms and systems integration whilst helping drive automation and AI initiatives across the organisation.

In this role you'll develop and improve internal applications, APIs and data pipelines, troubleshoot production issues and enhance the reliability of business-critical systems. You'll also work closely with senior stakeholders to understand business requirements, delivering scalable technical solutions across web platforms, ERP integrations and cloud infrastructure whilst contributing to engineering standards and continuous improvement.

The Role:

* Develop, improve and support internal applications, APIs and business-critical systems

* Build and enhance data pipelines, cloud platforms and systems integrations

* Troubleshoot production issues and improve the reliability and performance of existing solutions

* Deliver automation and AI-driven improvements to streamline business processes

* Work closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions

The Person:

* 4+ years commercial software development experience using Python

* Experience with SQL/data pipelines, APIs/integrations, cloud and full-stack development

* Able to evidence sound technical judgement, stakeholder communication and ownership of live systems

* Currently at an individual-contributor level - hands-on technically, but also able to independently own complex problems from requirements through to implementation, production support and continuous improvement.
