Pay Rate: £92 - £120 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)

Monarch Education is recruiting on behalf of a welcoming primary school in Edgbaston seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support children within their Nursery class. This is a full-time, long-term position offering the opportunity to make a real difference during a crucial stage of children's development.
We are looking for a caring and proactive individual who can nurture children's learning, wellbeing, and independence while working closely with the class teacher and wider Early Years team.
Key Responsibilities
- Support teaching and learning within the Nursery classroom.
- Assist with the delivery of engaging and creative Early Years activities.
- Encourage the social, emotional, and educational development of pupils.
- Provide support during play-based learning sessions both indoors and outdoors.
- Assist with observations and contribute to children's learning records when required.
- Support children with personal care needs, including toileting and changing where necessary.
- Help maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
Requirements
- A recognised Early Years specific qualification (Level 2, Level 3, or equivalent).
- Experience working within a Nursery, Preschool, or Early Years setting.
- A caring, patient, and nurturing approach.
- Confidence supporting children's personal care needs.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A genuine passion for supporting children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
