Responsibilities
Plan, organise, and manage a portfolio of clients within the Corporate Services department, ensuring a cost-effective, timely, and quality service.
Respond promptly to client queries and third-party correspondence, acting as the primary day-to-day point of contact.
Review and finalise audit files, financial statements, and corporation tax computations prepared by junior team members.
Monitor project progress against key statutory deadlines, including Companies House filings, group reporting, P11Ds, and tax returns.
Assist Partners in managing departmental work-in-progress (WIP), progressing jobs swiftly to completion and billing points.
Conduct formal performance appraisals, providing constructive feedback, mentoring, and technical training to nurture junior staff.
As a Corporate Audit Manager you will:
Build and maintain strong internal and external relationships to deliver value-added advisory assignments, including business planning and statutory audit projects.
Utilise advanced MS Office products and specialized audit software to maintain high standards of quality, accuracy, and efficiency across all engagements.
Delegate routine compliance work effectively to optimize department productivity and support team training and career progression.
Identify new business opportunities and actively contribute to marketing, networking, and practice development initiatives across the West Midlands.
Work directly with Partners to optimize resource allocation and drive high performance across the audit and corporate services team.
What You’ll Receive
Competitive salary from £52,000.00 to £65,000.00 per annum depending on experience.
