G2 are currently working with a local authority who is looking to appoint an experienced Housing Officer on an initial contract basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in housing management who enjoys working directly with residents and managing a varied patch.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing a portfolio of tenancies

Tenancy sign-ups, reviews and audits

Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) case management

Estate inspections and property visits

Supporting tenancy sustainment and resident wellbeing

Working closely with internal teams and external agencies

Ensuring compliance with housing legislation and policies

What we're looking for:

Previous experience as a Housing Officer, Neighbourhood Officer or Tenancy Officer

Strong knowledge of tenancy management and housing legislation

Experience managing ASB cases and resident-focused casework

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Ability to work independently and manage a busy caseload
