Yolk Legal are recruiting for a Birmingham opportunity with the backing of a Top 100 law firm, offering a 0-4 PQE Construction Solicitor the chance to develop across both advisory and disputes work.

You'll work with employers, contractors, subcontractors, construction professionals, financial institutions and other stakeholders across a genuinely varied caseload.

What you'll get involved in

Your experience will span both contentious and non-contentious construction matters, including:

• Construction and engineering contracts
• Professional appointments
• Warranties
• Bonds and guarantees
• Contract negotiations
• Dispute avoidance
• Adjudications
• Court proceedings
• Arbitration
• Mediation and other ADR
• Construction-related advisory work

You'll also gain exposure to projects across sectors including:

Commercial and industrial development | Infrastructure | Housebuilding | Healthcare | Education | Retail | Leisure | Public sector

That variety is a major part of the attraction.

What they're looking for

This role would suit a solicitor with 0-4 years' PQE who has construction experience or closely related experience.

You'll need:

• Strong written and verbal communication
• Good drafting ability
• Excellent organisation
• Commercial awareness
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently
• Confidence working as part of a wider team
• A genuine interest in developing within construction law

The package

£50,000-£72,000 + bonus and benefits
