£38,000–£45,000 basic salary plus 20% bonus

Birmingham City Centre | Permanent, full time | Four days per week in the office

Are you a hands-on sales leader who enjoys coaching people and turning targets into results?

Elite People is recruiting a Sales Team Manager for a growing business providing fuel and fleet solutions to business customers. This is an opportunity to shape a new-business sales team and play a key part in its continued growth.

You will lead a team of Sales Consultants, helping them build pipeline, improve conversion and win new customers. You will be close to the day-to-day activity, listening to calls, coaching individuals and creating a team culture that combines clear expectations with practical support.

• Lead and develop the team to achieve and exceed new-business sales targets.
• Turn business goals into clear daily, weekly and monthly activity targets and KPIs.
• Deliver call coaching, regular one-to-ones and individual development plans.
• Use CRM data to track pipeline, conversion and productivity, identifying where support is needed.
• Address underperformance constructively while maintaining sales quality and compliance.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and training, working with wider teams to improve lead flow and the customer experience.

• Experience leading a sales team in a high-volume, target-driven environment, with a record of delivering results through others.
• A strong understanding of outbound sales, pipeline management and conversion.
• Practical experience of call coaching, developing salespeople and managing performance.
• Confidence using CRM systems and sales reporting to make decisions.
• An organised, commercially aware approach, with the ability to motivate people and hold them accountable.

• £38,000–£45,000 basic salary, depending on experience, plus a bonus of 20% of base salary.
