The Company
Our client is a highly successful consumer brand operating within a fast-growth FMCG environment. With an innovative product portfolio, strong market presence and ambitious growth plans, the business has established itself as a leader within its category and continues to outperform the wider market.
As the business continues to evolve, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a commercially focused Finance Business Partner to join the team in a newly created role, working closely with the Head of Commercial Finance and partnering key stakeholders across Sales, Marketing and Operations.
The Role
This is a highly visible commercial finance position offering the opportunity to influence decision-making and drive business performance. Working at the heart of the commercial function, you will act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, providing meaningful insight and challenge to support profitable growth.
You will play a key role in evaluating pricing strategies, analysing promotional performance and assessing customer profitability. You will support major commercial decisions through detailed financial modelling and analysis, helping stakeholders understand the impact of investment choices, trading activity and growth opportunities.
The role offers significant exposure to senior leadership and will see you contributing to budgeting, forecasting and planning processes, whilst providing insightful recommendations to optimise sales performance, margins and return on investment. It is ideally suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where finance is viewed as a genuine partner to the business.
The Person
We are seeking a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with previous Finance Business Partnering experience ideally gained within FMCG, retail or another consumer focussed environment.
You will have a proven ability to build strong relationships with non-finance stakeholders and be comfortable challenging and influencing decision-makers at all levels. Experience supporting pricing, promotions, customer investment and profitability analysis is essential, alongside strong analytical and modelling capabilities.
This is an outstanding opportunity to join a market-leading consumer brand in a role offering genuine exposure, career development and the chance to play a key role in the next stage of the company's growth journey.
