An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Residential Conveyancer (12M FTC) to join an established and highly respected regional law firm. This is a key role within the residential property team, managing a busy caseload of residential conveyancing matters from initial instruction through to post-completion. The position offers the opportunity to join an established team and play an important role in delivering a high-quality service to clients.

Contract: 12-month fixed-term contract
Location: Birmingham
Working Pattern: Full-time

Key Responsibilities of a Residential Conveyancer:

• Manage a high-volume caseload of residential conveyancing transactions from initial instruction through to post-completion.

• Handle residential property sales and associated conveyancing matters efficiently and accurately.

• Provide clear, professional and timely advice to clients throughout the conveyancing process.

• Communicate effectively with clients, third parties and colleagues both verbally and in writing.

• Progress transactions in line with agreed timescales and ensure key deadlines are met.

• Prepare, review and deal with relevant conveyancing documentation.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues while taking ownership and responsibility for your own caseload.

• Maintain a high standard of client service while managing a busy workload.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or experienced Conveyancer.

• Approximately 2-3 years' experience managing your own residential conveyancing caseload.

• Experience managing transactions from instruction through to post-completion.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage a high-volume caseload and competing deadlines.

• Ability to work independently while also contributing positively as part of a team.

• Professional, approachable and client-focused manner.

• Self-motivated with a positive and committed approach.
