Construction Planner - #2155180

PSR are working with a contractor undertaking a large commercial project in the Northwest. The Contractor requires a Planner to get involved with a scheme in Birmingham. We are looking to recruit an experienced Planner to get involved with a live construction project.

You will be an integral part of our client's delivery team. You will have the opportunity to work on challenging new build project, utilising your expertise and contributing to the successful planning and execution of a large commercial project.

Your Day-To-Day Duties:

• Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring they align with project objectives and timelines
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to gather relevant information for accurate planning
• Conduct risk assessments and provide proactive solutions to mitigate potential delays
• Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and addressing deviations from the schedule
• Work closely with the project team to ensure effective communication and coordination
• Utilise industry-leading planning software and tools to optimise project efficiency

The Requirements

• Proven experience as a Planner within the construction industry
• Strong understanding of new build projects, with exposure to projects valued up to £100 million
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Relevant qualification in construction management or a related field

Salary & Package

Our client recognise the importance in their people, investing heavily in them through development, support, and of course remuneration.The salary on offer is negotiable, dependent on an individuals experience. Candidates whom have undertaken a similar role previously, with an equivalent contractor should be able to achieve the higher end of the salary bracket.
