Class 1 Trunking Drivers – Days

We are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to join a leading healthcare logistics company, completing regular trunking deliveries across the UK.

The role involves driving a modern fleet of temperature-controlled Mercedes-Benz and DAF vehicles, with a focus on safe, efficient and reliable trunking operations. Most routes involve a return to Birmingham.

What's on Offer?

• 4 or 5 shifts per week (rota dependent)
• Day shifts only
• Start times between 11:30 and 17:00
• Regular trunking work
• Modern Mercedes-Benz and DAF fleet
• Overtime paid after 48 hours or for additional rostered shifts
• Full paid induction and ongoing training
• Temp to Perm position

Pay Rates:

• Days – £16.98 per hour
• Days overtime – £22.59 per hour

Routes

Trunking deliveries to locations including Newcastle, Preston, Leeds, Hinckley, Letchworth, Croydon, Swansea, Exeter and more, with most routes involving a return to Birmingham.

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
• Valid Driver CPC
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Safety boots/shoes (no rigger boots)
• Hi-vis clothing
• Previous HGV Class 1 driving experience
