Role: Scrum Master – CRM Programme

Location: Birmingham (Hybrid – Average Once Every Two Weeks)

Salary: £46,000 - £56,500

Contract: Fixed-Term (12 Months)

Network IT are working with a highly respected organisation to recruit an experienced Scrum Master to support a significant digital transformation programme centred around Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM.

This is a key delivery role within a large-scale business transformation initiative, helping to modernise critical processes and deliver new capabilities through a bespoke Dynamics 365 platform that forms the backbone of some of the organisation's most important business operations.

Role Overview

As a Scrum Master, you will play a critical role in driving Agile delivery across multidisciplinary teams working on a major Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM transformation programme.

At the centre of this transformation is a bespoke Dynamics 365 solution that underpins some of the organisation's most critical business processes, making this a highly visible role with significant stakeholder engagement and business impact.

You will facilitate Agile ceremonies, support feature planning and backlog refinement, manage dependencies across teams, and ensure delivery teams remain focused on achieving sprint and product goals. Working alongside Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, and stakeholders, you will help remove delivery blockers, manage risks, and drive continuous improvement.

This role requires somebody who can confidently engage with both technical and business stakeholders, proactively manage risks and dependencies, and create an environment where teams can consistently deliver value. Experience delivering CRM-related projects, particularly Microsoft Dynamics 365, is highly desirable, as is previous experience operating within Higher Education environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
  
  
• Coach teams on Agile principles, Scrum practices, and continuous improvement
  
  
• Support feature planning, backlog refinement, and delivery prioritisation
  
  
• Monitor team performance and sprint metrics to ensure consistent delivery against objectives
  
  
• Manage dependencies between delivery teams and wider business functions
  
  
• Proactively identify, remove, and escalate delivery impediments and risks
  
  
• Partner with Product Owners, stakeholders, and leadership teams to support short and long-term planning
  
  
• Improve communication, transparency, and stakeholder engagement across the programme
  
  
• Support delivery teams through a major Dynamics 365 CRM transformation, ensuring the successful evolution of a platform that supports critical business operations
  
  
• Work closely with stakeholders to ensure business needs remain aligned to delivery priorities and sprint goals
  
  
• Contribute to the ongoing maturity of Agile delivery practices across the organisation
  
  

Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Scrum Master, or similar Agile leadership role
  
  
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM).
  
  
• Strong experience working within Agile delivery environments, including Scrum and/or Kanban
  
  
• Advanced knowledge of Azure DevOps for planning, backlog management, and reporting
  
  
• Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and coaching cross-functional teams
  
  
• Ability to ensure teams consistently deliver against commitments and sprint goals
  
  
• Strong stakeholder management experience within organisational change and transformation programmes
  
  
• Experience managing dependencies across multiple business and technical teams
  
  
• Excellent communication, facilitation, mentoring, and leadership skills
  
  
• Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving capabilities
  
  
• Experience delivering software, digital, or business transformation projects
  
  

Highly Desirable Skills & Experience

• Experience delivering projects or programmes involving Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM
  
  
• Experience working within a CRM-driven transformation environment
  
  
• Previous experience within Higher Education
