HGV Class 1 Driver
Birmingham| Up to £24.57 per hour | Temporary/Ongoing

What You'll Be Doing
- Transport mail between Royal Mail depots
- Follow planned routes with minimal loading or unloading
- Choose from morning, evening and weekend shifts
- Complete vehicle safety checks before each shift
- Valid HGV Class 1 (Category CE) licence (held for at least 12 months)
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- At least 180 days of Class 1 driving experience within the last year.
- No more than 6 penalty points
- Able to pass DBS and vetting checks
- Driving licence showing your current address
- Earn £21.44–£24.57 per hour (depending on shift)
- Paid 8 hours if you pass 2-4 hour driving assessment
- Guaranteed minimum daily hours
- Weekly PAYE pay
- Holiday pay and pension
- Opportunity to secure regular preferred shifts
- On-site parking and canteen facilities at most depots
- Ongoing support from the Pertemps team
