Are you a qualified Electrician with experience in coaching, mentoring, training or teaching, looking to move into education in a role where you can pass on your knowledge and gain your teaching qualifications alongside an excellent benefits package?

On offer is a permanent position with a well-established education provider, delivering Electrical Installation across a range of courses and levels, including apprenticeship provision, with the support and expectation of ongoing professional development.

You will join a supportive department focused on high-quality, inclusive learning, where you will contribute to curriculum development, embed employability skills, and play an active role within the course team.

In this role you will plan and deliver engaging sessions, develop learning materials (including digital resources), assess and track learner progress, and provide academic and pastoral support as a Personal Tutor. You will also support recruitment activity including open days and promotional events.

This role would suit an Electrical Installation professional looking for a long-term, secure position where you can develop as an educator, broaden your delivery across apprenticeship and classroom provision, and take on additional responsibility as you grow.

The Role:

Deliver Electrical Installation training across a range of courses and levels, including apprenticeships
Prepare lesson materials and assessments, including digital learning resources
Assess coursework/exams and maintain accurate progress and achievement records
Provide academic and pastoral support, including acting as a Personal Tutor
Support curriculum development and recruitment activities (open days/evenings)

The Person:

Electrical Installation background with credible industry experience (training/mentoring experience beneficial)
Minimum Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation (or similar relevant discipline)
Teaching qualification, or willingness to work towards one (training provided)
