What You'll Be Doing as a Property Compliance Manager
- Take ownership of the full tenancy journey, from the first enquiry through to move-in.
- Manage the tenancy progression process, including referencing, Right to Rent checks, tenancy agreements and deposit registration.
- Make sure every tenancy file is fully compliant before move-in, with all statutory documents completed and issued correctly.
- Complete landlord onboarding checks and make sure all information is recorded accurately.
- Book viewings and check-ins, and make sure any works following check-out are instructed and completed quickly to keep void periods to a minimum.
- Keep portal listings accurate and up to date, and progress property sales with solicitors, buyers and mortgage brokers.
- Keep the CRM and property management systems accurate, identifying and following up on missing notes or incomplete records.
- Carry out regular compliance audits and system checks, raising any risks or issues with senior management promptly.
- Produce clear and accurate reports for senior management, while identifying opportunities to improve systems and processes.
- Act as the operational backbone of the office as the Lettings Administration and Compliance Manager, working closely with the Head of Lettings.

- A proven track record of progressing tenancies from application through to move-in, ideally in a Senior Lettings Administrator, Tenancy Progressor or Lettings Administration and Compliance Manager role.
- Good working knowledge of lettings compliance, including Right to Rent, referencing and tenancy paperwork.
- Excellent attention to detail, with pride in keeping accurate records across multiple systems.
- Confidence to challenge poor record keeping, missed steps or gaps in compliance, and hold colleagues accountable for taking ownership.
- Clear and professional communication skills, with the ability to deal confidently with landlords, tenants, contractors, solicitors and colleagues.
- Confident using CRM and property management systems, as well as Outlook, Word and Excel. Experience with Reapit or Goodlord would be a real advantage.
