Chapman Tate Associates is working with an established and growing ERP consultancy looking to appoint an experienced ERP Manufacturing Consultant to support its expanding client base.

This is an opportunity for someone who understands manufacturing from both an operational and systems perspective. Whether you're already working as an ERP Consultant or you're an experienced ERP specialist within a manufacturing business looking to move into consultancy, we'd be interested in speaking with you.

You'll work directly with clients to understand their manufacturing processes, identify opportunities for improvement and deliver ERP solutions that make a genuine difference to their operations.

Working across ERP implementations, upgrades and optimisation projects, you'll help manufacturing businesses improve efficiency, streamline processes and maximise their ERP investment.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading functional ERP consultancy across manufacturing and distribution environments.
• Understanding client requirements and translating them into practical ERP solutions.
• Configuring and implementing ERP manufacturing functionality.
• Supporting production planning, MRP, bills of materials (BOM), routings, scheduling and shop floor processes.
• Improving inventory management, purchasing, warehousing and supply chain operations.
• Supporting ERP implementations, data migration, testing and go-live activities.
• Working closely with technical teams, developers and key business stakeholders.
• Delivering training and providing ongoing guidance to clients.

We're particularly interested in candidates with hands-on experience of Epicor Kinetic, although experience with other manufacturing ERP platforms will also be considered, including:

• Epicor ERP / Kinetic
• Infor CloudSuite, SyteLine, LN or M3
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations / Business Central
• SAP manufacturing solutions
• IFS, SYSPRO, QAD or similar manufacturing ERP systems

Ideally, you'll bring:

• Strong functional ERP experience within a manufacturing or distribution environment.
• A solid understanding of manufacturing processes, MRP, production planning and supply chain operations.
• Experience implementing, configuring or optimising ERP solutions.
• The ability to engage with clients, understand operational challenges and recommend practical improvements.
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Experience working for an ERP partner or consultancy would be advantageous, but we're equally interested in experienced end-user specialists who are ready to take the next step.
