Bank Care Assistant 

Location: Birmingham

Pay: From £14.24 - £18.50 an hour, inclusive of holiday pay

We are looking for experienced Care Assistants to join the bank team at Hunters Moor Neurological Rehabilitation Centre in Birmingham. 

You’ll support adults with brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, strokes and progressive neurological conditions in a specialist Level 2 rehabilitation and complex care setting.

What you’ll be doing: 

• Supporting residents with personal care and everyday routines 
• Assisting with mobility, meals and hydration 
• Encouraging independence, choice and social engagement 
• Spending time with residents and building positive relationships 
• Following care plans and keeping accurate records 

What you’ll need: 

• To be aged 18 or over 
• At least six months of paid UK care experience within the last two years 
• The right to work in the UK 
• Experience in neurological care, including supporting people who have had a stroke, as well as experience with mental health needs, behaviours that challenge and providing personal care.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills 
• A caring, reliable and professional approach
