Event Assistants Wanted - Be Part of Birmingham's Biggest Sporting Event This Autumn!

We're recruiting enthusiastic Event Assistants to support one of the UK's most exciting fitness events taking place in Birmingham this October. Role: Event Assistant (Temporary)
Location: Birmingham
Pay Rate: £13.85 per hour
Dates: 27th October 2026 - 1st November 2026
Shift Times: Various shifts available between 6:00am and 10:30pm

Full and part-week availability considered
Perfect for students, hospitality staff, retail workers, and customer service professionals

• Welcoming athletes and visitors with a friendly, professional approach
• Managing event registration and participant check-in using iPads
• Distributing race packs, bib numbers, wristbands, timing chips, and merchandise vouchers
• Supporting sponsor activations and merchandise stands
• Assisting with event operations to ensure everything runs smoothly
• Delivering excellent customer service and creating a memorable event experience
• Helping maintain the exciting atmosphere throughout the event

• Previous customer service, retail, hospitality, or events experience
• Confident communicators who enjoy engaging with people
• Reliable, enthusiastic, and proactive individuals
• A positive attitude and willingness to get involved
• Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment
• Ability to undertake some manual handling when required
