Head of Marketing – B2B SaaS

Location: Birmingham / Hybrid

Salary: £80-90k

We are working with a well-established technology business that is continuing its transition towards a SaaS and subscription-led model.

They are looking for an experienced Head of Marketing to lead the marketing strategy and work closely with Sales, Product and Customer Success to support commercial growth.

Product Marketing will be central to the role, with responsibility for positioning, messaging, go-to-market activity, launches, customer adoption and sales enablement across a portfolio of software products.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and own the overall marketing strategy.
• Lead Product Marketing across positioning, messaging and go-to-market.
• Support product launches, pricing, packaging and subscription propositions.
• Drive demand generation, customer adoption, cross-sell, upsell and retention.
• Build buyer personas, competitive intelligence and sales enablement materials.
• Own brand positioning, communications and thought leadership.
• Improve marketing measurement, attribution and commercial reporting.
• Lead and develop the marketing team.
• Work closely with senior stakeholders across Sales, Product and Customer Success.

What we're looking for

• Senior marketing leadership experience within B2B SaaS or subscription software.
• Strong Product Marketing experience.
• Proven experience of positioning, messaging and go-to-market strategy.
• Experience supporting pipeline, ARR growth, adoption and retention.
• Strong knowledge of SaaS marketing metrics.
• Experience leading and developing marketing teams.
• Comfortable working with Executive and Board-level stakeholders.

Experience supporting a business through a transition to a recurring subscription model would be particularly valuable.

Experience within FinTech or another complex B2B software environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
