Warehouse Operatives - #2151335

Novara People are currently recruiting for Warehouse Picker / Packers to support a busy warehouse operation based in Tyseley, Birmingham.

This is an ad-hoc temporary position, meaning shifts will be offered based on the customer's workload and therefore hours cannot be guaranteed each week.

However, the business is heading into its busiest period of the year, so we're looking to build a reliable team of workers who can support them as demand increases.

This could be a great opportunity for students, people looking for part-time work or anyone wanting flexible shifts alongside other commitments.

Location: Tyseley, Birmingham
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Contract: Temporary / Ad-hoc
Hours: Shifts offered depending on workload

Duties
Picking items accurately from pick lists
Packing orders ready for dispatch
Checking products and quantities before packing
Labelling and preparing orders for delivery
Sorting and organising stock
Loading and unloading goods where required
General manual handling
Keeping work areas clean and organised
Working at a good pace during busy periods
Following all warehouse Health & Safety procedures

Skills:

Previous picking, packing or warehouse experience would be beneficial but isn't essential. We're looking for people who are hardworking, reliable and punctual, comfortable with manual handling and able to work at a good pace.

You must also be flexible and available to pick up shifts when required.

Please note: This is ad-hoc work and shifts are offered depending on the customer's requirements. With the business approaching its peak period, we expect the requirement for additional warehouse staff to increase.
