I'm working with a leading professional services business that is continuing to grow and invest across its wider commercial function. They're looking for an experienced Bid Manager to join their established Group Bid team, with the opportunity to work across both legal and consultancy environments.
This is a varied role where you'll take ownership of the full bid process, working closely with senior stakeholders, fee earners and wider teams to deliver high-quality, commercially compelling submissions.

You'll take ownership of formal tenders and proposals across regional and national opportunities, with a particular focus on the property platform.
Your responsibilities will include:

• 
  Managing the end-to-end bid and tender process, from initial opportunity through to submission.
• 
  Working with senior stakeholders and fee earners to develop bid strategies, propositions and compelling responses.
• 
  Project managing bids, including kick-off meetings, timelines, actions, pricing and contract reviews.
• 
  Researching clients and prospective clients to help shape strong, relevant submissions.
• 
  Drafting, editing and proofreading high-quality bid content.
• 
  Coordinating input from teams including Finance, HR, IT, Compliance and other support functions.
• 
  Ensuring submissions are accurate, compliant and delivered on time.
• 
  Coaching and supporting fee earners ahead of presentations.
• 
  Reviewing bid wins and losses and helping to identify opportunities to improve future submissions.
• 
  Contributing to best practice, content libraries and wider bid processes.
• 
  Working collaboratively with the wider Business Development and Marketing teams.
• 
  Supporting wider projects, including opportunities around AI, innovation and change management.

You'll ideally have 3+ years' experience in bid or tender management within a B2B environment, with experience managing formal tenders from start to finish.
They're particularly interested in people who have worked within legal, property, construction or professional services, although sector experience isn't essential if you have the right B2B bid background.
Most importantly, you'll be someone who can hold your own with senior stakeholders. This isn't a role for someone who simply coordinates information and waits for content to come in. You'll need to be confident influencing, advising and challenging stakeholders when needed.

  The ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.

  Confidence working with senior stakeholders.

  A proactive, commercial and solutions-focused approach.
• 
  The ability to work independently while also being highly collaborative.
• 
  Strong IT skills, with InDesign experience useful but not essential.
