Basic Salary up to £43,000 + £7,000 to £9,000 Average Annual Bonus

Package on offer for a Fire Alarm Service Engineer

• Travel paid after the first 30 minutes each way

• 1 in 5 to 7 week call-out rota

• £175 standby payment per week

• Call-outs paid door-to-door at 1.5x

• 25 days holiday plus bank holidays

• Option to purchase an additional 5 days annual leave

• Remedial bonus worth 2% to 3.5% of invoice value

• Engineers typically earn an additional £7,000 to £9,000 per year through the bonus scheme

• Company van with personal use

We are recruiting on behalf of an established and growing specialist within the Fire Safety and Compliance sector.

The business provides a range of fire safety services across a varied customer base and continues to expand its engineering team as demand grows. This position would suit an experienced engineer who enjoys service, fault-finding and remedial work and is looking for a role with a strong package and excellent overall earning potential.

Responsibilities for a Fire Alarm Service Engineer

• Servicing and maintaining Fire Alarm systems

• Servicing and testing Emergency Lighting systems

• Working with AOV systems

• Fault-finding and diagnosing system issues

• Completing remedial works identified during service visits

• Carrying out repairs and corrective works where required

• Completing accurate service reports and associated documentation

• Ensuring work is completed in line with relevant industry standards and regulations

• Providing a professional service to customers

• Covering Birmingham and the surrounding areas

• Participating in a 1 in 5 to 7 week call-out rota
