Your new role

As a Senior Building Surveyor, you will take a leading role in delivering both professional and project-led surveying commissions for a diverse client portfolio. You will be responsible for managing projects from inception through to completion, developing client relationships, supporting business development initiatives and mentoring junior team members.

Working closely with senior leadership, you will contribute to the continued growth of the Birmingham office while delivering high-quality services across a range of simple and complex schemes. Sectors currently include residential, education, healthcare, leisure and public sector projects.

What you'll need to succeed

• RICS-accredited degree in Building Surveying
• MRICS qualified or working towards chartership
• Previous consultancy experience within a Building Surveying environment
• Strong project management and contract administration experience
• Experience delivering professional surveying instructions including defects analysis, condition surveys and dilapidations
• Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage fees, workloads and project teams
• Strong commercial awareness and business development capabilities
• Experience within education or residential sectors would be advantageous [uk.linkedin.com]
