Mitchell Adam are pleased to be partnering with an established international wholesale and distribution business based in Birmingham. Operating across the UK and overseas markets, the business has a varied customer and supplier network and offers an interesting environment where finance works closely with the wider operation.

Due to continued growth, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Management Accountant to join the finance team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for a change and new challenges, with a role that offers plenty of variety beyond the core month-end process. You'll be responsible for management accounts and financial reporting, while also working with the wider business to improve processes, provide financial insight and support decision-making.

• Strong Management Accountant experience, with a proven track record across month-end and management reporting.

• Part Qualified or Newly Qualified ACCA/ CIMA/ ACA.

• Experience identifying and implementing process improvements, with a proactive approach to streamlining processes and improving efficiency.

• Strong Excel and systems skills, with the initiative to identify opportunities to improve financial processes and reporting.

• The opportunity to join an established international business with exposure to a varied customer, supplier and operational environment.

• A broad Management Accountant position with involvement across month-end, financial analysis and the wider commercial operation.
