Maintenance Manager - #2149516

A highly successful division of a global manufacturing organisation supplying complex components to the aerospace, automotive & high technology has a new vacancy for a Maintenance Manager. Joining at a time of investment and company growth, you will be responsible for leading the maintenance function, ensuring maximum equipment reliability, minimising downtime and maintaining a safe, efficient and productive manufacturing environment.

The Role

Lead, manage and develop the maintenance team.

Ensure all plant, machinery and facilities are maintained to a high standard.

Develop and implement effective planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programmes.

Identify opportunities to improve machinery efficiency, reliability and productivity.

Ensure maintenance activities comply with all relevant health & safety, environmental and regulatory requirements.

Manage the maintenance budget and control expenditure.

Support engineering projects, equipment upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives.

Work closely with other leadership team colleagues to achieve site objectives.

Coach, mentor and develop the maintenance team.

The Person

Proven experience in a Maintenance Manager, Engineering Manager or similar senior maintenance role.

Experience managing and developing maintenance teams.

A strong understanding of PPM, reactive maintenance and continuous improvement.

Excellent problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills.

Strong knowledge of health and safety requirements within a manufacturing environment.

A hands-on, practical approach combined with strong management capability.
