The role:

We are seeking an experienced BMC Helix Engineer to design, implement, configure, and support enterprise-scale BMC Helix IT Service Management (ITSM) solutions. The successful candidate will possess deep technical expertise across the BMC Helix platform, including workflow automation, integrations, cloud deployments, and ITSM best practices. They will work closely with technical teams, service management professionals, and stakeholders to deliver robust and scalable service management solutions.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, configure, and maintain BMC Helix ITSM solutions.

Administer and enhance core ITSM modules including:

• Incident Management
• Problem Management
• Change Management
• CMDB
• Asset Management
• Smart IT
• Develop and maintain AR System workflows, including:
• Active Links
• Filters
• Escalations
• Menu Objects
• Configure and develop applications using BMC Helix Innovation Studio.
• Implement workflow automation and self-service capabilities across the platform.
• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot BMC Helix environments within cloud and containerised infrastructures.
• Build and support integrations using REST APIs, SOAP services, JSON, XML, and BMC Helix Integration Services.
• Develop automation scripts using Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Support CI/CD and deployment pipelines using technologies such as Jenkins and Ansible.
• Participate in platform upgrades, patching, migrations, and performance optimisation activities.
• Monitor platform health and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including infrastructure, development, security, and service management.
• Produce technical documentation, solution designs, and operational procedures

Skills & Experience:

Strong experience administering and developing within BMC Helix ITSM.

Extensive knowledge of:

BMC Helix Integration Service (iPaaS).

Proficiency with Python, PowerShell, or Bash scripting.

Desirable skills:

BMC Certified Professional certifications.

ITIL Managing Professional or higher.

Agile, Scrum, or SAFe certification.

Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Security Clearance (SC).
