Senior Project Manager - #2148536

As a Senior Project Manager, you will take ownership and accountability for some of PM Group’s most complex and high-profile projects. While this role sits within our UK. operations, many of our clients are multinational organisations, providing the opportunity to work across international project teams and take accountability for project delivery in a global environment.

Based from any of our UK offices (Birmingham, Manchester or Edinburgh)

This is a key and highly visible opportunity within PM Group, playing an important role in the continued success and growth of our UK business. You will provide leadership across the full project lifecycle, working closely with clients, project teams, contractors and internal stakeholders to deliver safe, high-quality and commercially successful projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead proposals and project delivery strategies, defining scope, execution, programme and commercial approaches, including EPCM models.
• Lead safe, effective project delivery across the full lifecycle, ensuring compliance with PM Group governance, quality, HSE and Client requirements.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, fees, resources and commercial performance, ensuring key milestones and targets are achieved.
• Lead multidisciplinary design and project teams, coordinating Clients, contractors, consultants, suppliers and other stakeholders.
• Drive risk, change and contract management, project reporting and close-out, while supporting team development and continuous improvement.

Key Requirements

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Construction, Science or a related discipline; professional Project Management membership is desirable.
• Proven experience delivering complex, multidisciplinary EPCM projects within the Pharmaceutical or Biopharmaceutical sector, including validation requirements.
• Strong commercial and Project Controls expertise, including management of budgets, man-hours, fees, schedules and Earned Value.
• Excellent planning, organisational and problem-solving skills, with a proactive, results-focused approach to project delivery.
• Strong leadership, communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build effective relationships and drive high-performing teams.
