Domestic Heating Breakdown Engineer

We are recruiting for an experienced Domestic Heating Breakdown Engineer to join an established heating and plumbing business covering Birmingham and the surrounding areas.

As a Domestic Heating Breakdown Engineer, you will primarily attend domestic properties carrying out boiler breakdowns, fault finding, servicing and emergency heating and plumbing repairs.

The role

• Boiler breakdowns, diagnostics and fault finding
• Domestic boiler servicing and repairs
• Emergency plumbing and heating repairs
• Leak tracing and access
• Basic plumbing repairs
• Work across a variety of boiler manufacturers
• Complete reports, photographs and Gas Safe documentation
• Participate in a weekend rota
• Deliver excellent customer service as a Domestic Heating Breakdown Engineer

The successful Domestic Heating Breakdown Engineer will need

• Minimum 3 years' boiler breakdown and repair experience
• Strong domestic heating and plumbing knowledge
• Experience across a range of boiler manufacturers
• CCN1
• CENWAT
• CKR1
• HTR1
• NVQ Level 2 Plumbing, City & Guilds or substantial relevant experience
• G3 Unvented Hot Water would be advantageous
• Full UK driving licence
• Strong fault-finding skills expected of an experienced Domestic Heating Breakdown Engineer

• £35,000-£40,000 basic salary
