THE ROLE
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Non-Contentious Construction Partner to join the Birmingham office of a leading international law firm.
The successful candidate will join a highly regarded construction practice and play a key role in the continued development of the firm's offering across Birmingham and the wider regional market.
This is a strategic hire for the firm and would suit an established Partner with a strong reputation in the market, an existing client following and the ability to develop further business.
You will advise a broad range of clients on complex and high-value non-contentious construction matters, whilst working closely with colleagues across the firm's national and international network.
A following is essential, together with a strong understanding of the Birmingham and wider regional market and demonstrable experience of developing client relationships and winning new work.
THE CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate will:
Be an established Non-Contentious Construction Partner with a strong market profile.
Have extensive experience advising on construction and engineering projects, development and associated agreements.
Have an established client following and a proven track record of generating work.
Have an in-depth understanding of the Birmingham and wider Midlands market.
Have strong relationships with developers, contractors, funders, investors and other key stakeholders.
Demonstrate excellent business development and networking skills.
Be commercially astute and confident in developing both existing and new client relationships.
Have the ambition to play a significant role in the continued growth of the construction practice.
Be comfortable working within an international firm and able to leverage a wider national and international platform for clients.
