  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of event processes, delivery and attendee experience.
  • Build strong working relationships with internal teams to coordinate scheduling, bookings and operational requirements.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to develop and improve event communications and supporting materials.
  • Work closely with Compliance to ensure event activity and partner engagement operates within relevant policies and industry regulations.

  • Line manage Events Coordinators and Events Assistants, including objective setting, performance management and professional development.
  • Provide day-to-day leadership, guidance and support to ensure high standards of delivery and strong team engagement.
  • Plan and allocate resources effectively according to event demand, priorities and capacity.
  • Lead regular team meetings and ensure clear communication of priorities, responsibilities and expectations.
  • Support the recruitment, onboarding and training of new team members as the function grows.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for team queries, challenges and issue resolution.
  • Maintain hands-on involvement in event delivery alongside leadership responsibilities.
  • Take full ownership of the end-to-end delivery of selected events, particularly complex or high-profile activities.
  • Support forward planning, including capacity planning, resource requirements and scalable delivery models.
  • Contribute to the development of a more strategic, insight-led and scalable events function as activity continues to grow.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, processes and ways of working across the events programme.
What you'll need:

  • Good handling of MS Office applications.
  • Ability to work on multiple events simultaneously and within deadlines.
  • Self-sufficient, well organised, and reliable working methods.
  • Excellent communicative skills, motivation, and team spirit.
  • Talent for administration and attention to detail.
  • Excellent customer service.
  • Bachelors degree or similar within preferred areas such as marketing, event management or similar.
  • RELEVANT INDUSTRY AND ROLE EXPERIENCE, NEED TO HAVE SUPPORTED A TEAM BEFORE WITHIN EVENTS.
