Management Accountant
Location: Birmingham
Salary: Up to £35,000 DOE (Pro-Rata)
Hours: Part-Time, 30 Hours Per Week

Butler Rose is delighted to be working with a well-established accountancy practice in Birmingham who's currently got an opportunity for a Management Accountant to join their team.. This role is ideal for an accounting professional with strong management accounts experience and a solid background in tax within a UK practice.

You will manage a varied client portfolio, preparing management and year-end accounts, handling tax compliance matters, and providing valuable support to enable client growth and success.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts for a portfolio of clients.
Produce year-end statutory accounts for limited companies.
Prepare and review tax Returns.
Manage client bookkeeping, VAT returns, and account reconciliations.
Liaise directly with HMRC regarding tax queries and compliance matters

Requirements
ACA, ACCA, or qualified by experience.
Previous experience working within a UK accountancy practice is essential.
Proven experience preparing Corporation Tax Returns and Self-Assessments.
Strong knowledge of UK accounting standards and tax regulations.
Experience preparing management accounts and year-end accounts.
Familiarity with accounting software such as Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, TaxCalc or similar.
Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
