Looking to start or develop your career in education?We are currently recruiting for a full-time Teaching Assistant to join a supportive secondary school in Birmingham.
This is an exciting temp-to-perm opportunity, with the potential to move into a permanent position for the right candidate.
The school is looking for someone who is passionate about supporting young people, works well as part of a team and is keen to make a positive difference. You don't need to have years of experience – the school is open to applications from both new and experienced Teaching Assistants.
About the Role
The role will primarily involve classroom-based support, rather than working exclusively with one individual student.
You will work alongside teachers and the wider SEND team to support students with a range of additional needs across the classroom. A significant proportion of the SEND provision includes students with SEMH and ADHD, so the ability to build positive relationships and provide calm, consistent support is important.

- Working closely with the SEND team and teaching staff.
- Helping to create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
- Supporting students to remain engaged and focused during lessons.
You could be:
- An experienced Teaching Assistant looking for a new opportunity.

- Someone who has recently completed a relevant qualification.
- A candidate with transferable experience working with children or young people.
