OVERVIEW:
• The successful Employment Barrister will join one of the most reputable teams, supporting a diverse client base spanning commercial organisations, healthcare providers, educational institutions and public sector bodies.
• You will benefit from a steady flow of high-quality instructions from the established employment team, allowing you to focus on delivering excellent outcomes for clients while maintaining a genuine work-life balance.
• The role offers a broad mix of Employment Tribunal advocacy, strategic input on complex employment matters and advisory work, with the opportunity to become involved in matters from the outset.
• You will help shape case strategy, draft pleadings and advisory documents, and represent clients at both preliminary and final hearings across the Employment Tribunal system.
• The successful candidate will have 2–5 years' post-call experience, together with proven Employment Tribunal advocacy experience and a genuine passion for employment law and litigation.
• You will have strong drafting and analytical skills, excellent communication and presentation abilities and a collaborative, commercial approach to client service.
• Applications are welcomed from Barristers with a mixed practice including employment law, who have developed a particular interest in the area and are looking to build a more specialist career in employment law.
• This is an excellent opportunity to undertake high-quality advocacy work across a nationally recognised client portfolio, with the opportunity to influence litigation strategy from the outset and become more involved in client relationships and advisory work.
