The Company:

ER Recruitment are excited to be working with our client is a well-established and successful organisation with a growing Birmingham-based sales operation.

Due to continued investment and expansion, they are looking for enthusiastic and commercially driven Outbound Sales Executives to join their Sales Team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced sales professional who enjoys a proactive, target-driven environment, building customer relationships and maximising sales opportunities.

Role & Responsibilities of the Outbound Sales Executives:

• Make proactive outbound calls to existing, dormant and prospective customers to generate sales opportunities.
• Build rapport with customers, understand their current requirements and identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell additional products and services.
• Re-engage dormant and lapsed customers, understanding their needs and identifying opportunities to bring them back.
• Contact existing customers to identify opportunities to grow their accounts and increase revenue.
• Qualify customer needs, understand buying timescales and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Handle objections confidently and use effective questioning to progress sales conversations.
• Manage opportunities through to close, ensuring consistent and timely follow-up.
• Maintain an accurate and well-managed sales pipeline using CRM systems.
• Achieve agreed sales, revenue, activity and conversion targets.

About You as the Outbound Sales Executives:

• Previous experience in outbound sales, telesales, account management or a customer-focused sales environment is essential.
• Confident and comfortable making outbound calls and speaking with customers throughout the day.
• A proven ability to identify opportunities and maximise sales through upselling and cross-selling.
• Strong communication and questioning skills, with the ability to quickly establish rapport and understand customer needs.
• Resilient and positive when dealing with objections or rejection.
• Target-driven, commercially aware and motivated by achieving results.
• Organised and disciplined, with the ability to manage multiple opportunities and follow-ups.
• A natural relationship builder who enjoys developing existing customer relationships.
• Experience using Salesforce or a similar CRM would be advantageous.
