Fire Door Carpenter - #2143035

An established passive fire protection contractor is looking for an experienced Fire Door Carpenter to work across projects throughout the Midlands on a self-employed basis.

The company specialises in fire doors, firestopping and compartmentation, delivering works across residential, commercial, healthcare, education and social housing projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, repair and maintain fire-rated doors.
• Complete fire door installation, remediation and replacement works.
• Install and adjust ironmongery including hinges, closers, locks and handles.
• Ensure all works are completed to the required quality and compliance standards.
• Complete site documentation and photographic records where required.
• Liaise with Supervisors and Project Managers to ensure works are delivered efficiently.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Fire Door Carpenter/Installer.
• Strong knowledge of fire door installation and remedial works.
• NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry & Joinery or equivalent.
• CSCS card.
• Experience across residential, commercial, healthcare or social housing projects advantageous.

Package

• £220 per day.
• Self-employed/CIS basis.
• Consistent project pipeline.
