Role
The successful candidate will take responsibility for their own Residential Conveyancing caseload, managing transactions from initial instruction through to completion and post-completion.
This opportunity would suit an experienced Residential Conveyancer, Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer (CLC) or Chartered Legal Executive (CILEX) with strong technical knowledge of residential property transactions. Applications are also welcomed from experienced fee earners who have developed their expertise through managing their own caseload.
You will handle a broad range of transactions including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, new build properties, shared ownership and other residential property matters. The successful candidate will be confident working independently while maintaining excellent relationships with clients and professional contacts.

Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  • Managing a varied Residential Conveyancing caseload from instruction through to post-completion
  • Handling freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
  • Advising on new build, shared ownership, transfers of equity and other residential property transactions
  • Reviewing title documentation and raising and responding to enquiries
  • Preparing and reviewing contracts, transfer documentation and completion statements
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, brokers, solicitors and other third parties
  • Providing regular and proactive updates to clients throughout their transaction
  • Managing matters efficiently while working towards agreed billing and performance targets
  • Developing positive relationships with existing clients, introducers and professional contacts
  • Ensuring files are managed in accordance with regulatory requirements and internal procedures
