Housing Administrator - #2141606

We are recruiting for a Buying Administrator to join an established Purchasing team within a growing business operating across the security, electrical and technical services sectors. This is an office based role with an immediate start.

Reporting to the Buyer, you’ll support the team with the day-to-day purchasing administration, supplier management and stock control.

Key Responsibilities

• Raise and process Purchase Orders and monitor outstanding orders.
• Chase suppliers regarding deliveries, pricing and queries.
• Handle purchasing enquiries by phone and email.
• Maintain Min/Max stock levels and accurate product records.
• Create new part records and maintain purchasing data.
• Work closely with Purchasing, Stores, engineers and other internal teams.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is organised, reliable and proactive, with strong attention to detail and a confident communication style.

You’ll ideally have:

• Purchasing, procurement, supply chain or relevant administration experience.
• Experience raising POs and dealing with suppliers.
• Good Microsoft Office and Excel skills.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Simpro experience would be advantageous, as would experience within Fire & Security, Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management or another technical/trade environment.
