THE ROLEYou will take ownership of building, improving, and maintaining data pipelines within a modern AWS-based data platform. Working closely with experienced data engineering and cloud architecture professionals, you will gain exposure to the full data lifecycle while developing your technical expertise.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and developing data ingestion pipelines from product and third-party sources into a modern cloud data platform.
- Monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimising data pipelines and scheduled workloads.
- Building and maintaining data models using dbt to support analytics and reporting requirements.
- Supporting the development of AI-driven data products and semantic layers.
- Creating trusted datasets and business-facing data assets to support company-wide decision making.
You will bring strong capability in:
- Python development.
- Advanced SQL.
- Building and maintaining data pipelines.
- Data modelling and warehousing fundamentals.
- dbt or similar modern transformation frameworks
- Experience with AWS data services.
- Exposure to Kafka, Spark, streaming data, or modern BI tools.
- Interest in AI, analytics engineering, and data products
You will receive a salary of up to £5,000 depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
