Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-5:00pm
Contract: Full-time, Permanent

We're recruiting for an experienced LCV Technician to join an established in-house commercial vehicle workshop.

This is a permanent position maintaining and repairing a company's own commercial van fleet. There are no retail customers and no regular weekend rota - your focus will be keeping vehicles maintained, compliant and on the road.

Immediate start available for the right candidate.

The Role

You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a fleet of vans and LCVs.
Duties will include:
·Servicing and maintaining the van and LCV fleet
·Mechanical repairs and general maintenance
·Diagnostics and fault finding
·Brakes, suspension, steering and electrical repairs
·Preparing vehicles for MOT
·Identifying defects and completing repairs
·Carrying out preventative maintenance to minimise vehicle downtime
·Responding to breakdowns where required
·Maintaining accurate service and repair records
·Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard

What We're Looking For
We're looking for an experienced LCV Technician with:
·Minimum 5 years' hands-on experience as an LCV Technician or vehicle mechanic
·Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to work independently
·Good diagnostic and fault-finding skills
·Experience working on diesel vans and commercial vehicles
·Relevant mechanical qualifications preferred
·Full UK Driving Licence
·Reliable with a strong work ethic
·Able to manage workload without constant supervision
·Pride in their work and understanding of the importance of vehicle uptime
