The Opportunity  
As a Commercial Finance Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting strategic and operational decision-making across the business. You'll work closely with stakeholders at all levels, helping them understand financial performance, identify opportunities, and drive commercial success.
 
Key responsibilities:

• Producing insightful financial and operational analysis to support business performance.
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting and business planning activities.
• Delivering meaningful management information and performance reporting.
• Analysing financial and operational data to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
• Partnering with operational and departmental managers to support decision-making.
• Providing robust financial challenge and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Developing and maintaining financial models to support commercial initiatives and investment decisions.
• Investigating variances and providing clear, concise commentary.
• Supporting strategic projects through detailed financial analysis and business case evaluation.
• Identifying opportunities to improve reporting, processes and commercial performance.
• Presenting financial information to both finance and non-finance audiences.
• Supporting senior leadership with ad hoc analysis and commercial insight.

About You  
We're looking for an individual who can confidently bridge the gap between finance and operations.
You'll ideally have:

• Previous experience within a Commercial Finance Analyst, Finance Analyst, Management Accountant or Business Partnering role.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with large and complex data sets.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience producing meaningful financial analysis.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Confidence presenting financial information to non-finance audiences.
• A naturally curious mindset with a desire to understand how the wider business operates.
• Strong commercial awareness and the ability to influence decision-making.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving capability.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment.
• A proactive approach and a genuine desire to add value.

Part-qualified, finalist or qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) candidates are welcomed, although relevant experience and commercial capability are equally important.
