This is a great Temp to Perm opportunity for someone with some accounts or bookkeeping experience who enjoys a hands-on role. You’ll be joining a small, supportive team where you can quickly become a valued part of the business.

What’s in it for you?

• Work hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:30am - 5pm, with a 4pm finish on a Friday and an hour lunch
• Salary: £12.50 - £13.00 per hour whilst temping through Midas Recruitment

Accounts Assistant Responsibilities:

• Support with a variety of day-to-day finance and accounts administration
• Monitor customer accounts and follow up on outstanding payments
• Process transactions accurately using accounting software
• Raise and send sales invoices and customer statements
• Process and approve supplier invoices
• Complete bank reconciliations
• Respond to customer account queries in a friendly and professional manner
• Keep customer account records accurate and up to date
• Provide general support to the wider finance team as required

Accounts Assistant Skills and Experience:

• Immediately available and happy to consider a Temp to Perm opportunity
• Previous office experience with a good understanding of accounts or bookkeeping
• Confident working with numbers and excellent attention to detail
• Friendly and confident communicator, both internally and with customers
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office and able to pick up new accounting systems quickly
• Organised, proactive and willing to get stuck in
• Happy to learn, ask questions and take on a varied workload
