French or Spanish Speaking Credit Controller - #2139113

Credit Controller - FTC until May 2027

£30,000 + 10% completion bonus

100% home based

A rapidly expanding international debt collection agency is currently looking for an experienced commercial credit professional with fluent language skills in either French or Spanish, as well as fluency in English, to join its credit management team to work on a high value and complex project until May 2027.

You will be part of a highly experienced and skilled global collections team, where you will be responsible for your own portfolio of customers covering French/Spanish and English speaking markets. You will be actively managing your ledger of c.200 accounts across a range of different industries focusing on maximising cash collection, query management, and working towards targets. Prior experience of working with Oracle is also highly advantageous.

This role will be a home based position.

Duties:

• Optimise cash collection in your ledger for debtors based in French or Spanish speaking markets
• Chasing high value and complex old debt (150+ days)
• Managing complex queries and disputes through to resolution
• Ensuring all updates are logged in a timely manner on system
• Escalation of cases to DCA when appropriate
• Working towards and achieving targets set
• Adhering to country specific legal and financial regulations
• Proactively alert management to any potential compliance issues.

Skills Required:

• Proven experience within commercial debt collection/credit control is essential.
• Fluency in French or Spanish (as well as English) is essential.
• Working knowledge of Oracle is highly advantageous
• Strong negotiation and dispute resolution skills
• Proven ability to work in a target driven environment
• Excellent time management skills
• Outstanding communications skills both verbally and written
• Team player, whilst demonstrating ability to work autonomously (especially as this is a remote based role)
• Excellent customer service skills
• Self motivated, with the ability to multitask and prioritise
• Strong Excel skills
