Your new company
Birmingham City Council is looking for experienced Adult Social Workers to join its Peripatetic Team, providing a flexible workforce across Adult Social Care services during periods of high demand, staffing shortages and service improvement work.

Your new role
As a Peripatetic Social Worker, you'll work across a variety of adult social care settings, including community, hospital, safeguarding and review teams. Your responsibilities will include:

Care Act 2014 assessments and reviews
Support planning and safeguarding enquiries
Mental Capacity Act assessments and best-interest decisions
Managing complex casework and progressing statutory interventions
Supporting teams to maintain safe and effective service delivery

What you'll need to succeed
Minimum 2 years' post-qualification permanent experience within Adult Social Care
Current Social Work England registration
Previous UK Adults Social Work experience
Ability to adapt quickly to different teams and service areas
