ROLE OVERVIEW
We are currently looking for a Regional Business Sales Specialist to join a leading provider of scientific and analytical solutions based in the UK, covering the Midlands.

As a key member of our client’s sales team, you will play a pivotal role in expanding the reach and success of their analytical instrumentation portfolio. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Your duties as the Regional Business Specialist will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
• Drive the growth of our client’s analytical and material testing product range within your designated territory through proactive sales and strategic planning.
• Engage in pre-sales technical discussions, assess customer requirements, and recommend appropriate solutions to ensure customer satisfaction and successful sales closures.
• Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the capabilities and applications of the company’s technology to potential and existing customers.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams including service, product specialists, and marketing to deliver exceptional support and ensure alignment with customer objectives.
• As the Regional Business Specialist, you will maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities, utilizing CRM (SAP) effectively for forecasting and reporting.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Regional Business Specialist, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
• A Degree or higher level in scientific disciplines such as chemistry, analytical chemistry, pharmacy, biochemistry, or related fields.
• Proven experience in solution selling, ideally with chromatography systems, spectroscopy, and mass spectrometry, coupled with hands-on laboratory experience.
• Strong understanding of mass spectrometry and chromatography theory, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Willingness to travel regularly within the territory, including occasional international travel for training and events, and a valid driver’s license.
