We're recruiting for an experienced Commercial Surge Protection Electrician to join a leading specialist in safety, compliance and protection systems. You'll oversee inspection, testing and maintenance activities across a varied client base, ensuring lightning protection systems are compliant, safe and maintained to the highest standards while supporting and developing engineers in the field.

The role is home-based and can be located anywhere in the UK, ideally within easy reach of a major city due to customer demand. You will be responsible for travelling to customer sites nationwide, with an average of 2 nights away per week required.

Requirements

• Previous experience working with lightning protection systems is essential.
• Qualified Electrician
• Experience working on Surge Protection Devices
• Experience in a supervisory, senior engineer or team leader role is advantageous.
• Knowledge of lightning protection testing, inspection and relevant standards.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Full right to work in the UK without the need for sponsorship.
• Comfortable travelling nationwide and staying away when required.

Package

• 50-55K Basic Salary
• Overtime available (paid door-to-door after 40 hours).
• 37.5-hour week: 8:00am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday, 2:00pm finish Friday.
• 20 days annual leave + bank holidays, increasing with service to 28 days + bank holidays.
