Hays are delighted to be partnering with a high-growth, family-owned services business to recruit a Management Accountant. Having experienced significant growth since 2020, the company is now looking for a commercially minded finance professional to support its next phase of expansion.
Your new role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, this is a pivotal role with responsibility for the production of monthly management accounts, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis. With multiple revenue streams across the business, you'll play a key role in providing insight, identifying growth opportunities and supporting the development of future product lines.This opportunity would suit a part-qualified finalist, newly qualified accountant, or a first-time mover from a mid-sized accountancy practice looking to broaden their commercial experience within a growing SME environment.

• Produce monthly management accounts and supporting analysis
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
• Provide insightful financial reporting and commentary
• Analyse multiple revenue streams and identify growth opportunities
• Support strategic decision-making through commercial analysis
• Partner with operational stakeholders across the business

What you'll need to succeed

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA finalist/newly qualified, or equivalent practice background
• Strong Excel and analytical skills
• Commercially aware with excellent attention to detail
• Comfortable working in a hands-on SME environment
• Ambitious and eager to develop within a growing business
