Fire Extinguisher Technician - #2136401

A well-established fire safety specialist is looking for an experienced Fire Extinguisher Technician to join their growing team covering Birmingham and the surrounding areas.

The successful Fire Extinguisher Technician will have a minimum of 4 years' experience within the fire extinguisher industry and will be confident carrying out servicing, maintenance, installation and remedial works across a range of commercial sites.

The Fire Extinguisher Technician will be responsible for:

• Servicing and maintaining portable fire extinguishers in line with BS 5306
• Installing and commissioning new fire extinguishers
• Completing extinguisher surveys and identifying remedial requirements
• Advising clients on suitable extinguisher types and positioning
• Completing service reports and relevant compliance documentation
• Managing their own diary and travelling across Birmingham and surrounding areas
• Providing a professional service to commercial clients

The successful Fire Extinguisher Technician will ideally have:

• A minimum of 4 years' fire extinguisher servicing experience
• BAFE or equivalent recognised extinguisher training
• Strong knowledge of BS 5306
• Experience working across commercial environments
• A full UK driving licence
• Good customer service and communication skills
• The ability to work independently and manage a mobile workload

The successful Fire Extinguisher Technician can expect:

• £35,000 - £40,000 basic salary
