Reception SEN Teaching Assistant
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Reception SEN Teaching Assistant to join our friendly school team.
Key Requirements:
Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), particularly those with complex needs.
Paediatric First Aid qualification or experience is essential.
Knowledge and experience of working with EHCPs (Education, Health and Care Plans) is highly desirable.
Ability to provide personal care with dignity and sensitivity.
Strong communication skills and a nurturing approach to supporting young children.
Role Details:
Supporting a Reception-aged child/children with additional needs.
Implementing strategies and targets outlined in EHCPs.
Assisting with personal care requirements.
Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, parents, and external professionals.
Helping create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
Working Pattern:
5 days per week (5 DPW).
Term-time only.
