Are you a compassionate and dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant with experience supporting children with complex special educational needs?

Your new school

I am working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in the Acocks Green area that is seeking a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team from January 2027. The school is known for its nurturing ethos, supportive leadership team and commitment to providing every child with the opportunity to thrive.

Your new role

You will be based within the school's SEN provision, supporting pupils with a high level of additional needs. This rewarding role requires someone who can build strong relationships, provide personalised support, and help pupils access learning in a safe and engaging environment.

The position will involve:

• Providing tailored support to pupils with complex SEN needs
• Working within the school's specialist SEN provision room
• Supporting pupils' learning, communication, and emotional development
• Assisting with personal care where required
• Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff to deliver individual learning plans

What you'll need to succeed

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (essential)
• Previous experience supporting children with SEN, particularly those with complex or high levels of need
• Comfortable providing personal care support
• Patient, resilient, and nurturing approach
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families
