• Salary - £70,000 - £80,000 DOE + Car Allowance + Benefits

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
 
This role is being created to provide additional operational capacity and expertise within our client's insurance function, working alongside their existing Insurance Manager. The successful candidate will bring strong, hands-on insurance operations experience, with particular emphasis on property insurance, and will help the team navigate the complexities of managing insurance programmes across multiple European markets.
 
This is a genuine opportunity to join an established, international organisation at a pivotal time, adding real operational depth to a growing insurance function rather than simply managing from a distance.
 
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Support the day-to-day operational management of the company's insurance activities.
• Work closely with the existing Insurance Manager to strengthen capacity and operational capability.
• Manage and coordinate insurance requirements across different European jurisdictions and markets.
• Help navigate differing market practices, regulatory environments and cultural considerations across Europe.
• Apply strong property insurance knowledge to the company's insurance and risk requirements.
• Work with internal and external stakeholders, including insurers, brokers and other relevant parties.
• Provide practical, operational input into insurance and risk-management decisions.
• Help ensure the organisation's insurance arrangements are effectively managed and delivered across its international operations.

WHAT OUR CLIENT LOOKING FOR

• A strong property insurance background is considered important, ideally gained within a sizeable or complex organisation.
• Significant hands-on insurance operations experience, rather than purely technical, broking or strategic experience.
• Experience working across European insurance markets and an understanding of the complexities of different jurisdictions.
• Comfortable operating internationally and adapting to different market practices and cultures.
• Able to work pragmatically and collaboratively with an established insurance team.
• Strong stakeholder-management skills and the ability to work with senior internal stakeholders and external insurance partners.
• Commercially minded, proactive and capable of operating with a degree of autonomy.
• Someone who can complement the existing Insurance Manager by bringing additional operational expertise and capacity.
